Wedding planning

Your wedding service should be something which you can look back on fondly in years to come; this can be helped greatly with some well chosen music. The first step you should take when considering your choice of music should be the minister of the church, check that the resident organist will be available if you are having live music and if you want a choir.

If the church doesn't offer live music then there are several organisations which specialise in providing musicians for weddings, these include choirs, solo vocalists, organists and instrumental ensembles. You and the groom should choose one or two organ pieces to be played on the guest's arrival which is then followed by the bridal procession.

Two of three of your favourite hymns and music to be played during the signing of the register will also need to be chosen, this is then followed by the traditional wedding march. Always check with the vicar before printing out the final order of service sheets and be sure to ask if the ringing of the bells is included. Some popular ideas for choices of music for your wedding are:
